2025 Year in Review: Growth, Innovation, and a Look Ahead to CrankWheel 2026

As we wrap up another transformative year, now’s the perfect time to reflect on how the company and the platform have evolved this year. 2025 wasn’t just about growth for CrankWheel; it was about refining how we serve you, our community of sales professionals and teams. From major usage milestones to team expansion and new features, every step we took was aimed at making your sales process smoother and more effective.

We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved alongside you this year. Let’s dive into the highlights of 2025 and see how these developments set the stage for an even more exciting 2026.

A Year of Record-Breaking Numbers

The numbers tell a story of trust and utility. This year, we saw our community grow and engage with our platform like never before. These milestones aren’t just statistics to us; they represent over a million sales conversations, successful demos, and closed deals facilitated by our tools.

In 2025, we proudly crossed:

  • 25 Million Minutes Hosted: During working hours, there will typically be 180-200 sales conversations ongoing at any given time, using CrankWheel. All told, we count 25 million minutes of live screen shares and meetings during 2025 where you connected with prospects and clients in real-time.
  • 300,000 Signups: Our user base has expanded significantly, welcoming professionals from all over the globe.
  • 300,000+ Video Recordings Created: You are leveraging asynchronous video more than ever to communicate value when you can’t be there in person.

These figures confirm that the demand for instant, hassle-free screen sharing is stronger than ever. We are honored to be the tool you choose to power those critical interactions.

Expanding Our Team to Serve You Better

To support this growing community, we knew we had to grow as well. In 2025, the CrankWheel team expanded to span five countries. We added talented customer-facing team members dedicated to ensuring your experience is seamless from day one.

Part of the team growth was the addition of a Chief Operating Officer (COO). This leadership addition is helping us streamline our internal operations, ensuring we can continue delivering the exceptional product reliability and service quality you expect as we scale.

Human-First Onboarding

Our team growth unlocked a capability we are particularly excited about: Live 1-on-1 Onboarding.

We believe technology should be easy, but sometimes you just want to talk to a human. Since mid this year, every user who signs up, whether on a free or paid plan, has access to a live, in-person onboarding call. This initiative is designed to help you get started on the right foot, ensuring you know exactly how to leverage CrankWheel’s features to hit your sales targets immediately.

Product Evolution: Simplicity and Power

Your feedback drives our roadmap. This year, we focused on simplifying access while adding powerful new capabilities that modernize your sales toolkit.

Simplified Pricing for Teams

We overhauled our pricing structure to make it more transparent and adaptable. We simplified our usage-oriented structure, making it easier and less expensive for teams to get started. You now have the flexibility to self-serve your way up and down plans as your team’s needs change, ensuring you only pay for the value you’re getting.

Full Web Conferencing Support

Sales calls have evolved, and so have we. We added full web conferencing support, which includes:

  • Webcam support for all viewers: Create a more personal connection by letting everyone see each other.
  • Web-based audio: No need for phone bridges if you prefer internet audio.
  • Share tab audio: Perfect for sharing videos or multimedia presentations with high-quality sound.

WhatsApp Integration

Meeting your customers where they are is rule number one in sales. To support this, we added support for sending meeting links directly via WhatsApp. This small but mighty feature reduces friction, allowing you to connect with prospects on the platform they use most.

Improved Security and Privacy Compliance

To better document, institutionalize and validate our security posture, we achieved our SOC2 Type II certification as well as our ISO 27001:2022 certification, both of which are confirmed by external auditors. Further, we added a GRC platform and internal controls and audits to ensure we continue to fully comply with the GDPR and HIPAA privacy standards, and we are about to finish the same work to validate our existing compliance with the UK GDPR and CCPA privacy standards. We launched our trust center, where you can read up on our security, privacy and compliance posture and retrieve the documents you may need to assess our organization.

Deepening Integrations

A sales tool works best when it plays nice with your existing ecosystem. We aggressively expanded our connectivity this year, growing from 3 to 8 CRM integrations.

We are thrilled to now support major platforms including Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho and HighLevel. These integrations allow you to launch meetings and log activity directly from your CRM, saving you time on data entry and keeping your workflow uninterrupted.

Industry Leadership and Community Engagement

Beyond the product, we strive to be thought leaders and active participants in the industries we serve. It is important to us to advocate for better sales practices and support the associations that support you.

Media Appearances and Thought Leadership

I had the privilege of sharing insights on several platforms this year. Highlights include:

  • Appearances on SourceForge and NABIP podcasts.
  • Features in California Broker Magazine.
  • Four authored articles published in California Broker Magazine, sharing strategies on digital sales transformation.

Supporting Industry Associations

We believe in giving back to the communities that rely on our tools. In 2025, we proudly sponsored key industry associations, including:

  • HAFA (Health Agents for America)
  • NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors)
  • NABIP (National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals)
  • CAHIP (California Agents and Health Insurance Professionals)

Through these partnerships, we provided valuable content and educational resources to members, helping elevate the standard of digital sales across the insurance and financial sectors.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we close the book on 2025, our gaze is firmly fixed on the future. The growth we experienced this year has built a strong foundation for what comes next.

In 2026, you can expect us to double down on our mission to provide the fastest, easiest, and most reliable screen sharing experience for sales. We will continue to listen to your needs, refine our platform, and introduce features that help you close more deals in less time.

Thank you for trusting CrankWheel with your sales process. Here’s to a record-breaking 2026 for all of us!
