CrankWheel helps sales teams and other professionals instantly connect with prospects or clients by sharing their screen in real time. One key feature is the ability to send SMS invitations and WhatsApp invitations to join a screen sharing meeting, after receiving the recipient’s verbal consent.
Below, we explain how the verbal opt-in process works when using CrankWheel—in line with carrier and Meta requirements for text messaging.
When using CrankWheel, the typical use case for text message invitations goes as follows:
For SMS: “By providing your phone number, you agree to receive a single text message with a meeting link for a CrankWheel meeting. Standard Message and Data Rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.”
For WhatsApp: “By providing your phone number, you agree to receive a single WhatsApp message with a meeting link for a CrankWheel meeting. No further messages will be sent without new consent. Your information will not be shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.”
