CrankWheel has transitioned to using one-time passwords (PIN numbers) for all users. This means you log in using a different mechanism than you might be used to, but don’t worry, your account hasn’t gone anywhere.
Instead of providing an email and password to log into CrankWheel, or logging in using a social account such as Facebook or Google, you now log in as follows:
If you were previously logged in to your CrankWheel extension, it will show the email address that you last logged in with (or the email address associated with your social account that you previously used to log in) when it prompts you to log in. You can simply click Continue and the user profile you previously had with us will be automatically migrated.
If you prefer to sign up for a new account, simply enter a new email address that you haven’t already used with CrankWheel when prompted to enter your email to use CrankWheel.
Our one-time passwords are cryptographically generated and just as secure as the previous log-in mechanism, but more convenient as you don’t need to remember a password for our service.
If you have any questions or need any assistance getting logged in to your account or signing up for a new account, don’t hesitate to contact our customer support by emailing [email protected].
